Redemption

Marius was not taken prisoner.After he Was not shot and passed out,Valjean grabbed him and pulled him into alloy behind the barricade. There seemed to be no escape from the advancing soldiers.Valjean looked all around.Then he saw the answer.There on the street was a hole covered by iron grill.Valjean lifted the grill,hoisted Marius onto his shoulders,and climbed down into the sewers of Paris.
