  2.First and foremost, China absorbed many elements from the arts, philosophy and religions of other countries. This helped to promote an open policy toward other cultures from the Han to Tang dynasties, contributing to enhancing the national power at that time. Furthermore, Cultures and arts from other lands have left valuable legacies along the Silk Road, such as the murals which has been well-known all over the world and helps China be rich in cultural background. Last but not least, it has promoted cultural exchanges and diversity in the world.

The better you know about both sides, the more certain odds for winning you will get. Only when ones know the terrain, morale and the training of troops of both sides, can they win the wars often.
