Lion
I think it's a great description of the heroism of old age.
The old man is old, and the storm symbolizes the hardships and adventures on the journey of becoming a hero, which he has witnessed and experienced. He's no longer young, and he won't have the blood of a boy who was a little boy, and he's eager to take risks. He is a mature, weather beaten man.
He didn't dream about women any more, about big fish. Treasure and womanhood have lost their appeal to him. In other words, material things can no longer satisfy him. He no longer dreams about his wife, about the big things that happened, about the fights and fights. His wife left him, and the strong man was alone. He has experienced the grief of losing his spouse and has no one to accompany him. And now he has come out of the pain, experienced the test of loneliness. He no longer indulges in the past and lies on the credit book of the past. He is no longer rigidly attached to the details of those disputes, those aggressive and competitive. He tamed this young, overt blood. But his past fighting has been internalized into his strong spirit, so he can think of lions. Those lions accompany him, just like kittens. That is the fighting spirit of the real strong.
