Since the wild nature was erected, the relationship between Buck and Spitz had become more and more intense. The first conflict broke out the day Spitz stole Buck’s nest, and when they fought against the invading huskies, Spitz took occasion to attack Buck. From then on the combat began, Buck started to intentionally challenge Spitz’s leadership, breaking down the discipline of the dog team, and even the two men noticed that it wouldn’t stop until one of them killed another. In the final battle, Buck beat Spitz, at which the latter was killed and eaten by other dogs. The instinct drove him marvelous, winning him the dominance and proud.
