坎特维尔幽灵读后感

I recently read The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde, and it is a very
interesting and warm story. I thought it would be a scary ghost story at
first, but it turned out to be full of fun and kindness. In the story,
an American family moves into a big old English house with a ghost. The
ghost, Sir Simon, tries very hard to frighten the family, but they never
feel scared. Instead, they play tricks on him and make him upset. I
laughed a lot at these funny parts, because the ghost is not terrible at
all—he is just a poor, lonely spirit. Later, the family’s daughter
Virginia feels sorry for the ghost. She listens to his sad story and
helps him find peace. This part touched me a lot. It tells me that
kindness and understanding are more powerful than fear. Everyone, even a
ghost, needs care and sympathy. This book is not only funny but also
teaches us a good lesson. We should be kind to others and try to
understand their feelings. I really enjoyed reading this story, and I
think it is a great book for everyone.
