My thought
清盏里的猫
Reflections on Robinson Crusoe Closing Robinson Crusoe, the legendary
experiences of Robinson on the desert island still echo in my mind. The
adventurous sailor was left alone on the island after a shipwreck, with
no ready food, shelter, or even a glimmer of hope for rescue. Yet he
wasn’t consumed by fear or despair. With incredible perseverance, he
crafted tools from the ship’s wreckage, built a sturdy dwelling on the
hillside, reclaimed wasteland until golden wheat ears grew on the barren
island, and domesticated wild goats to secure a stable food source.
Facing loneliness, he kept his spiritual world enriched by keeping a
diary and conversing with "Friday". What touches me most is
Robinson’s unyielding spirit. When encountering savage attacks, he
didn’t flee but calmly designed defensive works to turn danger into
safety; when stricken by illness, he pulled through with herbal remedies
and tenacious faith. He proved with actions that even in desperate
situations, as long as one harbors hope and takes positive action, the
hardships of fate can be transformed into a ladder for self-growth. In
real life, we may not experience desert island survival, but we still
face various setbacks. Robinson’s story is like a beacon, guiding me to
stay optimistic in adversity and blaze my own "path to
survival" with wisdom and courage. This spirit of facing challenges
head-on is the most precious treasure this book has left me.
