A thousand dollars

The first story is about Gillen unexpectedly receiving 1000 dollars and giving it to Miss Hayden. The second story is about the young Richard being unable to buy love with money. These stories have given me a new understanding of money, teaching us that the value of money does not lie in its amount, but in how we use it to convey love and warmth.
