"The Dubliners" first came into contact with the short stories
collection "The Dubliners" by the Irish writer Joyce. The
keynote of the novel is full of the word "bondage", half of
which is the bondage of the living. Half of the dead are still tied...
Sisters Father died of a strange disease from a useless chalice. What
does the chalice break symbolize? The destruction of ideals. The priest
died of religious paralysis, and the sisters did not understand it, only
a vain "peaceful" funeral... often met with stories that ended
abruptly, unexhausted, even angry, like many encounters that ended
without a cause. So it's hard to say that the reading experience is
good, but it's very interesting. In the ten stories, I remember a few of
the things I want to read: I have read this book for some time, but I
have not written it. Because during this period to give birth to a
child, also be regarded as a life and death experience. And then there's
this book, fifteen chilly and concise stories, where Joyce tries to show
the Dublin and Dubb that he loves and hates... The Dublin Man is a
collection of short stories Joyce wrote at the age of 24. Dublin is the
capital and largest city of the Republic of Ireland, and the second
largest metropolis in Europe after London. But in the history of
literature, very few writers have read James Joyce's
"Dubliners" for more than ten days and finally read it. This
book captures the life of the lower middle class and depicts the
long-term depression and confusion of Dublinns, trapped by colonial
rule, dogmatism, and narrow nationalism. When I first got it, I was in a
good mood. Short story collection, very suitable for mood impetuous
summer to see. I've always been fond of Ireland, a stubborn people.
"Irish Coffee" by Chua is a beautiful story about waiting...
"The Dublin Man" is a collection of short stories by Irish
writer James Joyce, which went through several obstacles before being
published. and later had great success. This time I chose the Writers'
List... and the reason I bought this book was that it was mentioned in
the introduction that it was ranked higher than "One Hundred Years
of Solitude," and after reading it, I realized that each has its
own merits. And "Dublin" is more intriguing. The cover of
"Dublin People" has... a good novel is like a museum. This is
a very apt saying to describe "Dublin People". Joyce is more
like the Nolan goddess than the author, observing the people and their
lives from an outside perspective.
