The Book Review

    After reading this educational classic, I have a deep experience and a great inspiration for me. Dewey has a far-reaching influence and unparalleled contribution to the educational ideas and implementation of the United States and the world. His ideas not only formed the experimental philosophical system after American pragmatism, but also an educational philosopher who indirectly influenced the implementation and theory of the new education - the so-called progressive education. It took a long time to read Dewey's School and Society, and I always felt that reading his book should be carefully experienced and the educational significance of it.

    Based on the relationship between school and society, the book School and Society reveals that education should start from the instincts and needs of children, and highlights the importance of activities related to children's direct experience with social life and family life. After reading it, I was deeply impressed by his educational theories.For example, in the book he said s chools are closely related to society, which refers to the mutual relationship or connection between schools and society in promoting human progress and social development. The development of education is essentially related to the development and change of society and the various needs of human beings to seek their own survival.

    All in all, this book has given me deep thinking and gained a lot.
