Do we really understand what love is? Unlike most people's admiration for the love between Heathcliff and Catherine, I think this book wants to pierce the veil of love more. The love we imagined may not be normal and healthy love. True love should be as positive as Hareton and little Catherine, making each other better themselves. Is Heathcliff love Catherine? After being insulted and stimulated, he made up his mind to escape from the villa and finally returned to Wuthering Heights to carry out his revenge. This so-called love is actually unwilling and unwilling to leave yourself because of the family status of the lover in his childhood, thus twisting his obsession. The role of Heathcliff is complicated. He suffered humiliation and abuse in his childhood, and his self-esteem was frustrated in adulthood. Therefore, he tried his best to revenge those who imposed pain on him. The content of his revenge included re-establishing contact with Catherine, obtaining the property of Hindley, raising the son of Hindley, defrauding Isabella and obtaining the property of Linton's house. His revenge methods include guiding Hindley to gamble and forcing his child to marry little Catherine, including all kinds of violence. The only thing in this book that was not beaten by adult Heathcliff should be Catherine. Finally, he found that Hareton and little Catherine were in love, realizing that his revenge was meaningless, his spirit collapsed and he died. The graves of the three men were still entangled and never died. This role is pitiful, but it is also Hateful. It can even be said that it has all kinds of drugs and tramples on the bottom line of morality and law. Even if he really loves (let's call this love), is it too rash for us to pity him for such a harmful role because of love? Never myth love, Otherwise, it will fall into the abyss. From the perspective of the narrator Mrs. Ding and the outsider Mr. Lockwood, the author reveals clearly the greed and hypocrisy of Heathcliff, which is definitely not praising such a role. Catherine's love for Heathcliff is her nostalgia for happy childhood. She is willful and divided. She yearns for an elegant and comfortable life while nostalgia for a wild life. At the end, she chose Linton through identity identity, which was her choice for the last life. Each of us is choosing our life, so in the face of such a choice, we can only say that we respect and have nothing to criticize. "I love him. He is more like myself than I am." It is the footnote of love in the widely circulated book. If you love each other because of similarity, is it falling in love with others or falling in love with yourself? This kind of footnotes seems too light. The character I love most in this book is Isabella, a completely poor man. I haven't done any bad things. My personality and mental state are the most normal, but the fate is the worst. From beginning to end, she seemed to be a tool person, not only a tool for Heathcliff's revenge, but also a trivial little person in the author's pen. In fact, we carefully taste that her life and death are powerful. "I like a kind of revenge that doesn't bother me, but conspiracy and violence are two-pointed spears. They can also stab people who use them, which is heavier than the enemies who stab them." This passage shows the image of an elegant, gentle and open-minded woman. She was originally a big lady in the manor. She was seduced by Hitan Clev, who was dressed as a knight, and became a tool of revenge. She was left in the cold, insulted, and abused by domestic violence. She could not bear to go away from home for 12 years and died of illness. Such a character is indeed one of the few normal characters in this book, Living normally and dying sadly. But in her body, it reflects the glory of human nature, actively resists and rejects violence, and morality is her glory. Linton represents the characteristics of Linton family. It is an old aristocratic image, but it is cowardly and ruthless. He could not face his wife's real face, and only hoped that everything would remain in the scene that he could accept. Even in order not to face Heathcliff, he voluntarily resigned from his social position and banned himself. Regardless of his sister, he was also weak when facing the snatch of Linton. The only thing worth praising is that he is a good father, making little Catherine grow up in a healthy environment. Little Catherine is a more tenacious role. She resists violence, is positive, generous, brave, strong, dares to face her heart and care for others, combining the gentleness of Linton family and Catherine's vitality. This role is a very beautiful role. Whether it was the feelings between her and Linton or between her and Hareton, the background was happy. When she found that the relationship with Xiao Linton was no longer pure and happy, she also made a trade-off in time and was very transparent, which also came from her growing up in the environment of love and unrestrained nature, and at the same time, she also understood how to love. However, such a character cannot avoid the pain caused by hatred. Heathcliff forced his son to marry her, colluding with lawyers and snatched her property. "living among fools and miserants, even if she met a better kind of person, she probably couldn't appreciate it." In such a depressed environment, she is also distorted and deformed. Linton was also a very poor role. He was weak and sick, but he met a crazy father. The pain of the body can no longer support his rational thinking, but he is pushed forward. After entering the villa, will he constantly miss the happy and quiet time when he was with his mother, although he was poor?
