Time machine
1. No one can escape the limitations of the times on themselves. The book separates the bourgeoisie and the working class completely, and even evolves (degenerates) into two species in the distant future, carrying a clear imprint of the author's generation.
In the author's depiction of the future, the upper class is always just eating, drinking, and playing, while the lower class serves the upper class's eating, drinking, and playing. This pattern has even become a natural instinct of both species. But the author has a deep concern about this exploitation, believing that the upper class, because they do not need to deal with crises and difficulties, will become complete fools, but always harbor fear of the lower class; Lower level people, on the other hand, have retained a portion of their intelligence and physical strength due to the need to operate machines and deal with potential machine malfunctions. The lack of food in the future has made the seemingly carefree lives of the upper class become lambs for the lower class to graze, while the lower class has become nightmares for the upper class.
3. The author seems to have a clear contempt of the bourgeoisie towards the working class. He believes that the lower class people who have evolved from the working class are greedy and fierce. In the future, he hates these lower class people and wants to use a stick to blow their heads out. The upper class are all singing and dancing, without any intention.
4. It may seem like science fiction, but in reality, the content of science fiction is very limited. In fact, it is the author's reflection on the future development of human social models using science fiction as a carrier.
