The Time Machine is the first step of science fiction by the famous British novelist Hector Joe Wells in the 19th century. When I saw the name of this book, I thought that the time machine was a machine to control time, but after reading the book, I realized that the so-called time machine was a machine that shuttled through time. This book tells that a "time traveler" invented a machine that can travel through time and space. The scientist used this machine to come to the earth more than 800,000 years later. At that time, human beings were divided into two races, namely: weak, ignorant, lazy, indifferent and pleasure-seeking; Strong, brutal, living underground, adapted to the dark night race. During the day, race is as fragile as porcelain beauty, and they are the food of night race. The night race is a tough cannibal, and whenever night falls, they catch people from the day race as food, but in the end, because of the change of environment, both races are extinct. The author of this book compares the rich in the society at that time to the daytime race that will evolve, and compares the poor in the society at that time to the nighttime race that will evolve. Through this story, it reflects the disadvantages and contradictions of the disparity between the rich and the poor in his society. He is afraid that human beings will kill each other in the future society, which is similar to the tragic ending of "man eating man", and expresses his beautiful vision of yearning for a communist society and living an equal, friendly and harmonious life between people.
