To be honest, this book is more like a dictionary, but I am glad that I had the chance to read it, and it took me into the Chinese culture that I am familiar with and strange to.
"Chinese culture is extensive and profound, with dense atmosphere and long history." The beginning of the article is enough to let me appreciate the light mist, clouds and smoke, the deep trace of the forest, the Cong Cong Cong of the long meaning, not only to the Chinese culture, but also to the character itself. Chinese characters, like Chinese culture, have been hammered and honed for thousands of years, from the inscriptions on oracle bones used to remember things, to the gold inscriptions on the castings used to sing praises and praise virtues, and later, people learned to use them to describe life and express the joys and sorrows of ordinary people... People often say that hundreds of years of refining into steel, so what will be refined into thousands of years? That is deeply imprinted in our minds, cut constantly deal with the chaos of the Chinese complex. Hence the poem "The moon is the hometown of Ming" and the song "Chinese Folk song".
As a Chinese, I am eager to know what happened in the past on this land under my feet, which was and will always be part of China, part of Chinese culture. I think this feeling is shared by every Chinese. Therefore, when I read this book, I not only have admiration for our ancestors again and again, but also feel proud of myself as a Chinese coming from Chinese culture.
