Gulliver's Travels

I read this book called Gulliver's TraveTravels. I choose it because I have already read it before in chinese. But i think chinese version of the book has lost some of the original meaning and feelings of this book. So I read it in English this time. This book was written by a famous writer around the world-----Jonathan Swift.He is good for writing and left many works for us to enjoy. What's more, he is known as the British eighteenth century outta satirist and satirical novelist. Last but not least, Gulliver's Travels is one of his best novels . In this book the hero Gulliver goes to a lot of surprising places and starts many incredible adventures. What impressed me most is that Brobdingnag. In Brobdingnag, everthing and everyone are big, but Gulliver is a dwarf. Although at first the king just take him as a joke, he still listen to and inquired about Gulliver's suggestions and stories about people, things and politics in England. What let him realized that this often happens in England, when we laugh at someone of no family, fortune or intelligence, who pretends to be as important as our great leaders. Gulliver's Travels is not only an adventure story, but also reflects the dark nature of people in the society at that time. It's valuable for us to read it and can help us build the spirit of adventure. The four travel, some countries, a number of reflection, lots of truth and a positive life are touched me deely.You're worth reading it.
