A reading report

The Old man and the Sea mainly tells about an old fisherman who met a huge marlin in the sea when he didn't catch any fish for 84 consecutive days.After three days and three nights of competition,the old man finally killed the salmon,but on his way back,he was attacked by a shark.When he returned,the big marlin was left with only its head and tail.This story ,however,tells the immortal heroic doctrine .Although the old man failed,it was only a failure of his strength and body,and his confidence and hope could not be dashed .People are not made to fail.A man can be destroyed but he can't be defeated.This is tough guy spirit! A very precious spirit! Many things are left in famous works.Thinking is the nature and responsibility of all writers.I admire writers and literature,and even more admire all people who don't give up thinking under the pressure of survival.In the writer's pen, let us understand a lot of truth.
