The whole story seems ridiculous, but through the author’s vivid description, I immerse myself as if I were in a strange world like Alice, to discover and explore every novel thing. As a fairy tale, I can deeply feel that the world of children is always full of fancy, like the long strange dream of the protagonist Alice. Because it was in a mirror world, things happened contrarily to the real world, which is why the people inside are very strange.
However, for the descriptions of some characters---I don’t know if I’ve been too sensitive or overcomplicated the theme ---- I feel there’s something sarcastic in the words. It sounds like an oblique reference to some people in our real world. Some of the shortcomings, when enlarged, look absurd and funny. For example, the self-righteous Humpty Dumpty, the White Knight who loves to do useless work, the Red Queen who always goes out of context and misinterprets the meaning of others, etc.
In general, it has opened up my brain, and I have been rewarded and inspired by the author's novel ideas and Alice's kindness, bravery and curiosity.
