In Nick's series of reflections and reflections, we know that Gatsby seems to realize that Daisy in reality is not as perfect as his dream, but Gatsby is still struggling with reality until he dies. Dreams are sometimes pale, and when they are broken, they are so heartbreaking. Bernard Shaw once said, "There are two tragedies in life, one is not to get what you love, the other is to get what you love." Perhaps this tells the paradox of dreams: Do you want a fast-spinning coin to stand where it is when it stops spinning?
