Destiny Is Unavoidable

The story of Gatsby is a tragedy, a poor young man had a dream finally achieve his goal by his efforts. He lost his lover but regained her. However, he lost everything after leading a befuddled life. His lover betrayed him and the people he helped had never been thankful. Gatsby had lost the old warm world, and paid a high price for living too long with a single dream. That’s what the author who was one of the Lost Generation wanted to let us know, which is that destiny can’t be escaped.
