    Mrs.Reed was apparently terrified now. She did treated Jane very bad in the fast few years, and that was because she was unsatisfied and angry with fate. She could not accept the truth that her husband left her, and she had to paid more money to adopt another child. She was fragile but she denied that. She could only yell and scold at Jane to make her feel better, and never had her ever considered if Jane knew how she was mistreated, she just refused to consider about things that concerning emotion. So she appeared so shocked now, it was like a person who saw his doll come to life.
